    Having trouble with scale values, help. dv/dx = (50-10)/(200-0) =40/200 = 1/5; so a= v*dv/dx = v/5; at x=0, v=10 so a = 10/5 = 2, at x=200, v=50, so a = 50/5 = 10. Your graph has 18. ???

Hello, I'm having a hard time accepting that both velocity and acceleration can both be linear at the same time when plotted as a function of distance x, and at the same time be both continuous in the case of velocity and discontinuous in the case of acceleration at the point x = 200. Myself (and many others probably) and mostly versed in the time domain when talking about distance, velocity and acceleration problems, and I think it would make for a very satisfying connection if you were able to convert this specific example to the time domain and explain such a conversion in more detail (I guess I'm specifically asking about comparing v(t) with v(x) and a(t) with a(x) if possible).

Dr. van Biezen, I have a favor to ask: On one of your past videos (several years ago), you showed a long list of all the physical constants that one ought to memorize in the course of learning physics and astronomy. I have spent a fair amount of time trying to find it, but I would value ($) it very much if you could point me to it. Thank-you for all the great videos !!!

Thus, I am forwarding the question to you to make a video on it or just reply to my message. Thanks. The time required to fill a bucket with water from a certain garden hose is 30 s. If you cover part of the hose’s nozzle with your thumb so that the speed of the water leaving the nozzle doubles, how long does it take to fill the bucket? A. 7.5 sec B. 15 sec C. 60 sec D. 30 sec
